An interactive seminar was held for the Game Development & Design students at ICAT, Chennai. The seminar was conducted by Mr.Vinod Asokan from Gameshastra, Hyderabad. Mr. Vinod is an Alumni of ICAT student, who hails as an expert in Game Programming in Unity 3D for more than 2 years. He was able to guide the students with various aspects of using Unity. Seminar started on a simple note, with how Unity works & treats entities. Also scripting tips were given by Mr.Vinod. He was able to explain to our enthusiastic students about the various aspects of using this engine, in development of games for mobiles. Scripting, Optimization, using Animated models etc were some of the topics which were covered in specific.
Along with sharing his expertise on Unity 3D, Mr.Vinod also got our students excited about their careers as Game Programmers and Designers. He shared his insight about the Indian gaming industry and what it has in hands for all the aspiring Game creators. The seminar ended with a quick vote of thanks and a souvenir.
