Sand Sculpting Skills of IMAGE and ICAT Students Benefitted the Chennai Traffic Police

On account of the Road Safety Week, the students of IMAGE and ICAT joined hands with the Chennai Traffic Police in creating public awareness on road safety. The students created sand sculptures at two locations: Marina Beach (shore in Gandhi statue and Kannaki statue) and Elliot’s Beach to pass on various road safety messages. At the Elliot’s beach, the sculpture was created in the shape of a helmet with a depiction of human brain at one side and a human chain at the other to convey the importance of wearing helmet. The sculptures at the Marina beach depicted safe driving, ills of drunken driving and use of mobile phones while driving.
